Walkabout is a walking group for residents of Alwoodley, their family and friends.
The benefits of walking are regularly featured in the media these days: quite apart from the exercise, our members enjoy our rambles in the wonderful countryside of West and North Yorkshire, and many new friendships are forged.
We are an active group and put on many walks of different lengths and grades. We like to think that there is something for everyone.

You are invited to come along for your first walk to meet members other members and see if Walkabout is for you.
We hope that you will choose to join. If you do, our annual membership fee is £8 per person for the year, and £12 for couples at the same address.
The membership year runs from June to June. If you join later in the year, there is a discount – details available on request.
