The Parish Council is pleased to invite you to celebrate the change in season together on the 27 September 2026 from 2:30 – 4:30pm on the Alwoodley Village Green (King Lane Park). The event features the Homecoming Brassband: “African influenced music played by a New Orleans influenced brass band. Seasoned musicians from varied backgrounds with Brass and percussion, bring their own interpretations of world, funk, Latin American and original grooves.”
Bring your folding chairs, autumn-themed picnics, and flasks with warm drinks. The Parish Councillors will be there to greet you and hear your ideas for how to continue to make Alwoodley a great place to live.
The Council will also launch the Alwoodley Hedgehog Highways Project at the event. You’ll be invited to share your favourite photos of hedgehogs and wildlife that you’ve spotted in or near your home. So get your pics ready — we can’t wait to see them.
